Contesting Sweepstakes Name: WSB-AM/WSBB-FM Clark Howard Feed Your Family for a Year, Contesting Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”).

Participating Station of Sponsor: WSB-AM/WSBB-FM.  Collectively referred to herein as the “Station.”

Sweepstakes Period: Sweepstakes starts on March 7, 2014 at 7:01am EST and ends on April 18, 2014 at 5:00pm EST (“Sweepstakes Period”). Sponsor will be the official timekeeper for the Sweepstakes. This Sweepstakes shall be subject to these Official Rules, and by participating, all participants agree to abide and be bound by these rules and the decisions of Sponsor and any Sweepstakes judges or administrators selected by Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects. The final day to enter into the Sweepstakes is Thursday, April 17, by 5pm Atlanta time.

Eligibility: This Sweepstakes is only open to legal residents of the state of Georgia who are 18 years or older as of the first day of the Sweepstakes Period. Employees (and their immediate family or any persons domiciled with such employees) of Cox Radio, Inc. d/b/a Cox Media Group-Atlanta Radio (“Sponsor”) and its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising agencies, prize providers, promotion and delivery contractors and/or public relations companies associated with this Sweepstakes, are not eligible to participate or to win. The term “immediate family” includes spouses, siblings, parents, children, grandparents, and grandchildren, and in-laws, regardless of where they live. A potential winner will be requested to provide proof that all eligibility requirements are met. Void where prohibited and outside Georgia. This Sweepstakes shall be governed and enforced pursuant to Georgia law, excluding choice of law provisions.

How to Enter the Sweepstakes:  To enter, during the Sweepstakes Period, register at www.wsbradio.com/contests and listen to WSBB-FM 95.5 or WSB-AM 750 at the announced times each weekday to see if your name is announced on air (see “How to Play,” below).  The registration website will be announced on the Station, via a link on a participating Station’s website (www.wsbradio.com) and via a link on Facebook.com. Each entrant must fully and accurately complete the online registration page with all required information including, but not limited to, his/her name, a valid email address and birth date.  After having read and agreed to these Official Rules, click the submit button to submit your online registration.  All online registrations must be completed fully to remain eligible to have your name announced on-air and to be a potential winner. By entering, you agree to the privacy policy on wsbradio.com.  Maximum of one (1) online registration per person and per valid email address, regardless of method of online entry.  Any online registration submitted with an invalid email address will be disqualified.  This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook.  

BY ENTERING THE SWEEPSTAKES, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT THE STATION MAY ANNOUNCE YOUR FULL NAME LIVE ON-AIR IF YOU ARE RANDOMLY SELECTED AS A POTENTIAL WINNER AND YOU HEREBY CONSENT TO THE STATION DOING SO.  YOU ALSO REPRESENT AND WARRANT THAT YOU ARE SUBMITTING YOUR SWEEPSTAKES REGISTRATION ENTRY ON YOUR BEHALF AND NOT ON BEHALF OF ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL.

Any registration submitted on behalf of another individual or using another person’s email address or name will be disqualified and ineligible to claim any prize.  The use of multiple identities and/or accounts is prohibited, and any attempt by any participant to obtain more than the stated number of entries will void that participant's registrations and that participant will be disqualified.  Registrations by any means which subvert the registration process will be void.  Use of any automated system to participate or subvert the registration process is prohibited.  Sponsor will not be responsible for failure to receive entries due to transmission failures or technical failures of any kind, including, without limitation, malfunctioning of any network, hardware or software, whether originating with sender, Sponsor, or Sponsor’s Sweepstakes application service provider.   

In the event of a dispute as to any registration, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address used to register will be deemed to be the registrant if he/she meets the eligibility requirements of these Official Rules. The “authorized account holder” is the natural person assigned an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address.  All registrations received become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned.  Any questions regarding the number of registrations submitted or the authorized account holder shall be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, and Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entries by persons who submit false or misleading entry information or who Sponsor determines to be tampering with or abusing any aspect of the Sweepstakes.

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible survey entries received.

How to Play the Contest: Approximately four (4) times each weekday beginning Monday, March 10, 2014 through Friday, April 18, 2014 the Station will air a “Prize Announcement” between 6:30am EST and 5:30pm EST.  At the previously announced designated play times (at approximately the 7am, 8am, 9am and 5pm hours), the Stations will air a live announcement of the name of an entrant randomly selected from among all eligible entries received through the day prior to such announcement. The contestant selected and announced on-air by the Stations will be eligible to win that “Game” announcement shortly after the top of the hour. Once the announcement has been made, the registrant whose name has been announced on-air will have ten (10) minutes to call in to Sponsor’s Sweepstakes line at (404) 741-0750 and claim his or her prize.  For example, if a registrant’s name is announced by the Stations at 5:09pm, he or she will have until 5:19 pm that same day to call in to Sponsor’s Sweepstakes line at (404) 741-0750 in order to claim his or her prize.  Sponsor reserves the right to change the exact prize value for each Sweepstakes announcement; provided that the change in prize value for each Sweepstakes announcement will be clearly disclosed by the Stations on-air at the time of the announcement.

Any individual claiming to be the registrant whose name was announced during a Sweepstakes announcement will need to verify his or her registration information, including the email address on his or her registration form, in order to claim his or her prize.  In the event that multiple prize claims are made by individuals with the same names in response to a Sweepstakes announcement, the prize will go to the individual whose email address matches the email address specified on the entry form randomly drawn as the potential winner for such announcement, subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules.

Throughout the Sweepstakes Period, Sponsor will make a minimum of ninety (110) Sweepstakes announcements.  As described above, Sponsor will make approximately four (4) announcements periodically each weekday between approximately 6:30am EST and 5:30pm EST during the Sweepstakes Period; provided, however, that Sponsor reserves the right to make additional, fewer or no Sweepstakes announcements on any given weekday during the Sweepstakes Period.  The exact timing and number of Sweepstakes announcements may vary each day in Sponsor’s sole discretion.  Sponsor will use commercially reasonable efforts to announce all Sweepstakes announcements simultaneously on participating Stations.

Eligible individuals who listen to the Stations’ audio service via IP connections streaming or mobile devices are welcome to call-in.  However, Sponsor cannot be responsible for delays in electronic transmission of its Stations’ audio service to IP devices.  By participating in this Sweepstakes, listeners acknowledge and agree to this specific provision of these Official Rules.  In addition, Sponsor will not be responsible for loss of service to the Sweepstakes line or for a participant’s failure to reach the Sweepstakes line due to malfunction of any network or system, congestion, any technical or human error, failures or malfunctions of any kind, including the congestion, overload, busy signals, or any other factor that may prevent an individual from completing his/her phone call.  In the event of interruption of power or telephone service to Sponsor during a Sweepstakes announcement for the Sweepstakes, or a change in programming that results in Sponsor’s inability to air a call-in opportunity on the Stations, the call-in period for the Sweepstakes announcement affected by the interruption may or may not be replayed at the resumption of service, in Sponsor’s sole discretion.  If a designated caller is ineligible, or fails to comply with any term or condition of these Official Rules, that caller will not receive the applicable prize award.  Any telephone calls placed to the Sponsor Sweepstakes line may be recorded for use on air any time.

Prizes: A maximum of $130,000 in prizes will be awarded during the Sweepstakes Period; however, the total dollar amount may be lower depending on the number of eligible entrants who call-in in response to each Sweepstakes announcement.  Unless otherwise clearly announced by the Stations on-air at the time of a particular Sweepstakes announcement, the prize value for each Sweepstakes announcement will a one thousand dollar ($1,000.00) Kroger gift card. One grand prize winner will be chosen from all Sweepstakes winners at a ceremony after the contest concludes to win the grand prize of a ten thousand dollar ($10,000.00) Kroger gift card. Each prize claim will be subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules.  The odds of being selected as a potential winner of a Sweepstakes announcement call-in opportunity will depend on the number of eligible entries received.    

Limit: One (1) prize per person and one (1) prize per household for the duration of the Sweepstakes. One grand prize winner will win both the $1,000 gift card and the $10,000 grand prize gift card.

Prize Claim Procedures: In the event of a prize claim, the claimant must complete the online Prize Claim procedures at www.wsbradio.com and return per listed directions and must present a valid government-issued photo ID. The verification decisions of Sponsor are final and binding in all respects.  In addition, failure to present the required government-issued photo ID will result in forfeiture of the prize.

General Terms Applicable to all Prizes: All prizes will be awarded in the form of a $1,000 Kroger gift card to winners. Winners will receive their gift cards at a ceremony after the contest at a local Kroger store (location, date and time TBD). All winners will be contacted in advance of the ceremony, and those who are not able to attend will be able to pick their gift card up after the ceremony for a period of two weeks at the radio station.  A winner may waive the right to receive a prize.  Prizes are non-assignable and nontransferable.  No substitutions allowed by winner.  Prizes and individual components of prize packages are subject to availability.  Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prizes or components of prize packages with a prize or component of equal or greater value.  Winner is solely responsible for reporting and payment of any taxes on a prize.  Winner may be required to provide his/her valid Social Security Number (or other taxpayer identification number Sponsor deems acceptable) to Sponsor for tax purposes and/or complete an IRS W-9 form in order to claim a prize.  Winners are solely responsible for reporting and paying all federal, state and local taxes on the prize value and, if applicable, will be issued an IRS Form 1099 based on the prize value determined by Sponsor. Prizes not won and claimed by eligible Sweepstakes announcement winners in accordance with these Official Rules will not be awarded and will remain the property of Sponsor.  In no event will Sponsor award a total number of prizes in excess of $130,000.  In the event that production, technical, seeding, programming, or any other reasons cause more than the stated number of prizes set forth in these Official Rules to be available and/or claimed, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prizes by a random drawing among all legitimate eligible prize claims.

Other Conditions: Potential winners may be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility, and a liability and publicity release (except where prohibited by law), which must be notarized and returned to Sponsor prior to prize delivery. Failure to do so will result in that potential winner forfeiting his or her prize.

By participating, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor and any Sweepstakes judges or administrators selected by Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects.  Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify persons found tampering with or otherwise abusing any aspect of this Sweepstakes as solely determined by Sponsor.  In the event the Sweepstakes is compromised by a virus, non-authorized human intervention, tampering or other causes beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor which corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper operation of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Sweepstakes.  Should the Sweepstakes be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, Sponsor reserves the right to award prizes based on the eligible prize claims received before the termination date.  Proof of sending or submission of an entry will not be deemed proof of receipt by Sponsor.  

Except where prohibited, acceptance of any prize constitutes the winner’s irrevocable consent to the publication or other use by Sponsor and its licensees of his or her name, biographical information and likeness in any media, including the Internet, for any commercial, publicity or promotional purpose, without limitation, review or approval, or additional compensation.

Release: BY PARTICIPATING IN THE SWEEPSTAKES, EACH PARTICIPANT AGREES TO FULLY RELEASE, FOREVER DISCHARGE AND HOLD HARMLESS SPONSOR, COX MEDIA GROUP, LLC, COX ENTERPRISES, INC., CMG CORPORATE SERVICES, INC., FACEBOOK, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, SUPPLIERS, DISTRIBUTORS, ADVERTISING/PROMOTION AGENCIES, AND PRIZE SUPPLIERS AND EACH SUCH COMPANY’S OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS, REPRESENTATIVES, AND SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS (COLLECTIVELY, THE “RELEASED PARTIES”) FROM AND AGAINST ANY CLAIMS, COSTS, LIABILITIES, LOSSES, INJURIES, AND DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE SWEEPSTAKES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY CLAIMS FOR PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, OR DAMAGE TO OR LOSS OF PROPERTY, LOSS OF ENJOYMENT, OR ANY OTHER HARM WHATSOEVER ARISING OUT OF: (1) PARTICIPATION IN THE SWEEPSTAKES; (2) THE QUALITY, RECEIPT, POSSESSION, USE, OR MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE; OR (3) ANY TRAVEL OR ACTIVITY THAT IS RELATED TO THE SWEEPSTAKES OR ANY PRIZE.

Limitations of Liability: By PARTICIPATING IN THE SWEEPSTAKES, PARTICIPANTS acknowledge and agree that EVERYTHING REGARDING THIS SWEEPSTAKES, INCLUDING THE WEBSITES AND THE PRIZES, ARE provided “as is” and that Sponsor makes no representations or warranties OF ANY KIND, express or implied, about the PRIZES and Sponsor hereby DISCLAIMS all such warranties, including, but not limited to, any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.  (BECAUSE SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN IMPLIED WARRANTIES, THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. IN SUCH STATES, THE LIABILITY OF THE RELEASED PARTIES IS LIMITED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY SUCH STATE LAW.)

The Released Parties are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by PARTICIPANTS, printing OR PRODUCTION errors, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or EMPLOYED in the Sweepstakes; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Sweepstakes; (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Sweepstakes, the processing of entries, or the notification of any winner; or (5) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from A PARTICIPANT’S participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use or misuse of any prize.

Construction: The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision.  In the event that any such provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, these Official Rules shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or unenforceable provision was not contained therein.
